If you love a taste of the Mediterranean cuisine, Pulpo is where you need to be. The interior immediately makes you dream about sandy beaches and azul blue waters in the Southern European countries. And if that alone doesn’t transport you to Italy, Portugal, Spain or Greece, the food will!
On the menu you will find Truffe Ravioli, Escalope Milanese, Parmigiana, Albondigas, Pulpo and other feel good food! My friend A. and I went to Pulpo to celebrate both of our birthdays and we had a great night! We ordered the Albondigas and Pulpo to share, which were amazing. One of my favorite Italian dishes is cannelloni, so when I saw that on the menu, I had to try it! A. went for the Parmigiana di Melanzana. Delicioso! There is also a very nice wine selection, so you are definitely in for a treat! On weekdays Pulpo offers a lunch menu with starter and main dish for € 19,50.
Oh and hey if you don’t want to go to the city center of Ghent, there is also a second Pulpo in Sint-Denijs-Westrem.
